This is an open call for artwork submissions I created for tAd Gallery in Texas. The exhibition will feature women artists who work with themes that can be deemed as marginalized or not part of the accepted political and cultural norm. I thought a bright neon pink would be a good choice as the accent colour. Pink seems to have fallen into disfavour as a very feminine/childish colour. But in this context it becomes almost defiant in tone, especially set against the black background.
